Community Bike Ride: Carpinteria to #SBEarthDay Festival

INTERESTED IN RIDING A BIKE ALONG OUR BEAUTIFUL SOUTH COAST BUT FEEL LIKE A LITTLE SUPPORT?
On Saturday, April 21st, the group will ride from Carpinteria to Alameda Park in Downtown Santa Barbara. All participants should be able to ride a bike safely with the ability to brake, change gears, and balance while stopping and starting at all traffic signals. Community Bike Rides are no-drop rides meaning that every participant respects traffic laws and nobody is left behind during the one hour ride.
- Your bicycle, in good running order and don’t forget your helmet.
- A snack & a water bottle.
- All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian.
Meet at Wardholme Torrey Pine at 10:45 a.m. Come earlier if you want to grab a cup of coffee at Lucky Llama. Departure at 11:00 a.m. Arrival in Santa Barbara around noon for lunch.
Ride from Carpinteria to Alameda Park for Earth Day celebration (about 12 miles). Riders can choose to ride back on their own, take the train or a bus. FREE bike valet is provided by SBBIKE volunteers.

If not, join online or stop by Bici Centro. But nobody will be turned away. If you show up for the ride without a current SBBIKE membership, the leader will offer you a FREE one month membership (offer limited to one time only).
