From Ashes to Opportunities document
How can those who lost their homes in a recent fire build back better? CEC and a local coalition is encouraging survivors to rebuild their homes using proven fire resistant construction strategies that can make the new home more environmentally friendly and energy efficient than the one they lost. Local architects, builders, landscape architects, and fire officials are sharing expertise, resources, and examples of local homes that have been built or rebuilt using these strategies. Our hope is to inspire residents before they rebuild to consider the range of possibilities available to them.
