The Community Environmental Council’s annual Green Gala is more than a great party; it’s an opportunity to connect with CEC’s mission for a green and healthy Santa Barbara County. Our five core initiatives – Drive Less, Drive Clean, Go Solar, Ditch Plastic, and Rethink Food – reflect ways in which every one of us can lighten our impact on the planet. CEC’s grass-roots movement encourages both personal action and government accountability to create a resilient, green future worthy of the next generation.

The Community Environmental Council’s 2018 Green Gala sold out in record time! Thank you to all our supporters.

We are excited about returning to The Lark, the acclaimed Funk Zone restaurant. The Lark’s chefs are creating a menu just for the Green Gala, with a focus on family style dishes sourced from local farms and accompanied by artisanal cocktails and local wines.

The Community Environmental Council’s annual Green Gala not only delights guests with a beautiful setting, it also offers the chance to tell our story to a group of influential and visionary friends. CEC’s small but mighty staff is dedicated to moving our region away from dependence upon fossil fuels and energy intensive products. A Santa Barbara region powered by clean energy creates a healthier community for every living thing. CEC’s five initiatives—Drive Less, Drive Clean, Go Solar, Ditch Plastic and Rethink Food—allow everyone to engage and embody our vision for a green Santa Barbara.

At the 2018 Green Gala, celebrate more than four decades of successes as we envision that clean energy future over an amazing meal with friends under the stars.

We promise you an incredibly memorable night!
