The new year is a great opportunity to reflect on our daily habits and consider ways that we can become more eco-friendly. To help move our community’s sustainability habits to the next level, we are excited to announce a new CEC partnership with

What is Sustainable Future

This Santa Barbara-born community website creates awareness about top environmental challenges that we can directly take action on as individuals. In a fun environment, the platform supports community members in making positive behavior changes around various sustainability themes. These themes – including plastics minimization, food waste reduction, and cleaner transportation – support CEC’s efforts to tackle climate change at a local level.

Do you always bring your reusable mug to your local coffee shop? Do you compost food scraps at home, or bike to work regularly? These type of simple actions help reduce your carbon footprint while improving your overall health and well-being.

Once you’ve created a free account, you can log the actions you take, gain points (as well as recognition!) for your good deeds, and get inspired by the daily actions of others in our community. The site also tracks and shows our community’s collective results.

How to Get Involved
