Sanctuary Screening & Panel Discussion: “Saving Animals, Saving Nature"

  • CEC Environmental Hub 1219 State Street Santa Barbara, CA, 93101 United States (map)

Please join us for a screening of the new documentary short, “Sanctuary,” about the ground-breaking Lompoc-based Shadow’s Fund and its new model for rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and farm animals. A panel discussion and Q&A with co-founders Jill Anderson and Cody Rackley will follow the screening. Wine and light refreshments provided.

Almost 15 years ago, Co-Founders Jill Anderson and Cody Rackley embarked on a journey that led to the creation of a one-of-a-kind sanctuary on California’s Central Coast. Home to roughly 70 dogs, horses, and pigs, the sanctuary provides all residents with the highest quality of life, in an environment unlike anything in the animal sheltering world.

The Community Environmental Council is a promotional partner for this event.
